Our play barn in the family hotel
Fun, games and lots to do on 250 square metres of floor space. About 6 metres high and on 3 levels: Our Landlümmels is the heart of our children's hotel and is full to the rafters with great opportunities for romping, shimmying, sliding and jumping. Once you have conquered the climbing tower, you can go back down again in no time. The more daring choose the path through the dark in the giant tube slide. It's also fun to on the trampoline while the youngest children prefer to the little ones prefer to go on the bobby cars. A bath in the balls may not be clean, but it's fun. And a tower of giant bricks built by the children themselves does not make them an architect, but proud.
Our play barn is directly adjacent to our all-inclusive premium restaurant. So you can enjoy your delicious dessert in peace and quiet while adults talk and keep an eye on your little ones.
Ready for great movies?
Cozy movie nights with old classics, the funniest children's films for the whole family or a performance for our younger guests.
Make yourself comfortable in the lounge chairs of our "Big Stage" screening room. And if you like, order the right drink from our bar next door.

A whole courtyard to discover
Kettcars in various sizes are available all over the yard. Your children can move around freely at any time and discover new paths. So that you parents can relax when your little racers are out and about on the farm with their holiday friends, our wooden gate limits the cobblestone path up to the car parks. Whether alone or with the whole family - an exploratory tour of the grounds is definitely the best way to start your family holiday at Averbeck!
Your children are guaranteed not to get bored on our outdoor playground on the large meadow behind the paddock house. Climbing, swinging, sliding, digging - and all over again. Right next to it you'll find our mud playground, where your little ones can build water castles, dams and dig trenches to their heart's content. Naturally protected under our large awning. Dirty feet, tousled hair and shining children's eyes are included when the water from the large Schwengel pump finds its way through the specially shovelled water course for the first time! Swimming lessons on your family holiday
Holidays are the best time for swimming lessons. In our children's hotel with swimming pool, it's not only great to play and splash around, but also to get to know the exciting element. Since the little ones especially love the water, we offer you baby and children's swimming courses over a (holiday) week. Relaxed and without stress.

Seahorses in your luggage
Instead of ticking off the swimming course under time pressure in everyday life, you can bring your little ones to the swimming course at Landhaus Averbeck in a completely relaxed way and use the time for yourself. No pressure, no stress. Sit back, enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and read a good book while your kids take their "Frog" or "Seahorse" badge.
Children from the age of 5 have the opportunity to get used to the water in a playful way during our 5-day swimming course, and maybe even take their test at the end of the holiday. In small groups of a maximum of five children, they can familiarise themselves with the exciting element in 45 minutes each day.
Monday-Friday, 45 minutes each, costs € 110,-.
Familiarisation with water for the little ones
For our very young guests we offer baby and toddler swimming three times a week. In this course, parents and children can play with different materials and toys and develop fun in the water with fun exercises.
Under the expert guidance of our "Oberwasserratte", your children from the age of 3 months will get to know the element of water, in a relaxed way and without the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 45 minutes each, cost € 66,-.
Riding holidays for children
Riding holidays for children, but also for everyone who simply wants to several times a week, we offer free pony rides, where your little ones can spend lap after lap on the back of the four-legged friends. In addition, we offer various riding activities for children from the age of 3 - whether beginners or experienced riders. And if you are an adult and would prefer your first cautious contact with the horse's back, you are also very welcome here.

Your children will have a great time with the little ponies learning to groom, lead and ride with lots of fun and enjoyment with our certified Hippolini Minicoach.

Our larger ponies are looking forward to meeting you. You will groom and ride according to your ability, guide each other, learn theory about riding and the pony - an intensive and fun pony time!

Horse time for kids with riding experience
The bigger ponies and horses are here for you. You clean and ride and get theory and practice for little "professionals. An intensive time for advanced riders.

Depending on ability, we ride in the arena, go on guided rides or - for advanced riders - we are happy to give dressage or jumping lessons.

Bicycle rental included
Get to know the beautiful nature around our farm and pedal yourself. We have bicycles with child seats and bicycle trailers ready for you for a day trip to the beautiful Lüneburg Heath.
Sports and fitness offers
Would you rather work out? Make the most of your family vacation and enjoy sport, relaxation, sweating and sore muscles all to yourselves, while the little ones are wonderfully looked after in the family hotel with childcare. Whether alone, with your partner or in a group, our fitness trainer Annika is a certified fitness coach and will meet you where you are.
With Zumba, Pilates, Fit for Fun and AquaGym, among others, you will have fun and get fit with us. We offer you a varied sports program 5 days a week. Free of charge and included.
You can also start wonderful jogging routes of various distances through the countryside directly from our farm.
Yoga in the family hotel
Time here and now
With Rieke Willenbockel you will find time for the here and now four times a week during your family vacation at Averbeck.
Back home in the beautiful Lüneburg Heath, she has many years of experience as a certified Vinyasa yoga teacher and teaches a flowing, moving style of yoga that brings body and mind into synchronicity thanks to movement.
